Retail Campaign Adaptation & Motion Design

Client:

IKEA

Challenge:

Supplied national campaign assets were only in the format of a single A4 flyer, not tailored for the local store environment or format-specific needs - including a large-format digital display in a busy, high-traffic walkway, where static artwork risked poor visibility and readability.

Responsibilities:

Led the adaptation of campaign assets for a large-scale digital format, collaborating with store stakeholders to identify messaging priorities and optimise content for the customer journey. Refined visual hierarchy, pacing, and motion behaviour to improve communication effectiveness while maintaining alignment with IKEA's brand standards and campaign objectives.

An end-to-end adaptation of a national marketing campaign for a local audience at IKEA Reading, spanning print, digital, motion, and environmental touch points - including a large-format digital display outside the Swedish Restaurant. Working closely with the Food Manager and store stakeholders to understand messaging priorities and the customer journey, I managed the campaign end-to-end - reworking national assets for local implementation across print, digital, motion, and environmental touch points. The project improved message visibility and readability from a distance, increased awareness of the campaign, and supported engagement with the restaurant offering across the store.
