This project involved creating a social-first visual campaign for Grundon Waste Management aimed at raising awareness of reducing everyday plastic waste. The campaign introduced a distinct sub-brand within Grundon’s existing identity, designed specifically for Instagram to communicate sustainability tips in a more engaging and accessible way.
Working from campaign topics and captions provided by the Marketing Co-ordinator, I designed a series of post visuals combining custom illustrations with supporting typography. The visual approach balanced clear messaging with playful graphics to make the content easy to understand and visually engaging within a fast-scrolling social feed.
To maintain brand recognition, the design retained Grundon’s signature blue while introducing a complementary colour palette and bespoke sub-brand logo. A flexible illustrative system was developed so the campaign could communicate multiple sustainability topics while remaining visually consistent. The campaign helped introduce a lighter, more creative tone to Grundon’s social channels and contributed to increased engagement across the month-long campaign.
